Shortcut Explanation:

Step 1:

                Multiply unit digits   i.e.   9 × 4 = 36   Here Consider Unit Digit i.e. 6 remaining carry part keep there and remember

Now the tentative answer is    ---6   (Carry part is 3)

Step 2:

                Cross Multiplication of unit digits and tens digits and addition

                                i.e. (8×4) + (9×6) = 32 + 54 =86 then add previous carry part 86 + 3 =89

                Here also consider unit digit i.e. 9 this add to previous tentative answer

                                       now new tentative answer is - –96 (carry part is 8)

Step 3:

                Multiplication of Tens digits i.e. 8 × 6 = 48 for this number add previous carry part 8 now the new number is 48 + 8 = 56. This value is added to previous tentative answer
