Data Interpretation Tables 2

Any statistical data pertaining to a situation ca be represented by tab;es. Tables are the easiest and most convenient form of representation if the data is reasonably limited.

Advantages
1) Tables present data logically
2) Tables give a bird's eye - view of the data in a concise and a compact manner thereby saving time and space
3) The rows and the columns, that constitute any table facilitate data comparison
4) Tables also facilitate analysis and informed decision - making

Disadvantages:
1) Even though questions asked in tables are quite easy many a times they consume lot of time. It is good to avoid that type of questions. Ex when for companies A, B, C and D no of cars sold over 2000 - 07 is given and asked to find which company sold maximum no of cars in that period? Even though it is quite easy we need to do addition operation many a times.
