Percentages is very very important concept for all bank exams. From Percentages topic will get 2 or 3 questions i.e. directly or indirectly but this concept will comes in many topics, if you are not prepared Percentages you lost many marks in exam, simply you can not get the job, so do practice with good effort. before starting practice Percentages first you learn shortcuts for this topic i.e. 15%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% etc. you will do practice to remember directly in exam, it will save some time in exam.
Percentages:
50% = 50/100 =1/2 =0.5
25% = 25/100 =1/4 = 0.25
75% = 75/100 =3/4 = 0.75
33% =25% + 8% =0.25 + 0.8 =0.33
8% = 8/100 = 2/25 =0.8
20% = 20/100 =1/5 = 0.2
Simply you construct percentage like above steps, in problem solving just you write the direct value, don't do the complete concept, it is the waste of time.
Example: 50% of 200 =?
Solution: 200 x (1/2) = 100 Here 1/2 is the 50% Value
